We are a black and female owned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery office in Odenton, MD serving the surrounding counties of Anne Arundel, Howard, Baltimore, and Prince George’s counties with patients coming from as far as Delaware and Pennsylvania to our office. We have a diverse staff and serve a diverse population performing extractions, sedation (sleep), dental implants, complex full mouth smile implant conversion, pathology, and numerous other procedures. We see mostly adults, but do perform emergencies and sedations for children. We are proud to serve the men and women of the armed forces.

MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Edna Buckle Was Born In Ghana And Grew Up Primarily In Michigan. She Attended The University Of Michigan (Go Blue!) And Completed Her Dental Training At The World’s First Dental School, The University Of Maryland Where She Received The Prestigious Horace Wells Anesthesia Award For Management Of Anxious Patients. She Is Currently An Anesthesia Evaluator For The Maryland State Dental Association And Visits Other Offices To Verify That They Are Prepared To Safely Perform Sedation On Patients.

After Dental School, Dr. Buckle Completed Four Years Of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery Training At Howard University Hospital In Washington, DC With Emphasis On Trauma And Facial Surgery, As Well As Extractions, Pathology, Sedation, And Management Of Medically Compromised Patients. Dr. Buckle Is Fully Board Certified. She Is A Member Of The American Dental Association, The American Academy Of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgeons, The American Board Of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Mid-Atlantic Society Of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgeons, The International Affiliation Of Tongue Tie Professionals, And The Holistic Dental Association.

In Her Spare Time, Dr. Buckle Is An Avid Reader And Short Story Writer, And Enjoys Traveling, Running, And Spending Time With Family.
