About our Practice

Husband and wife medical/dental office. Dentist is wife, Dr. Adepeju Igun. Together we provide comprehensive healthcare to the San Antonio, Texas community. Primway Medical opened its doors in November 2015.  After 1-2 years, the idea of having a combined dental-medical office was born.  Many people think of oral health separate from overall health.  But more and more research is showing the two are very tightly knit.  Everything from heart disease to early preterm labor in pregnant women has been linked to dental health conditions. Both Dr. Adepeju Igun, DDS and Dr. Adeniyi Igun, MD want to educate patients that you can not take care of one and ignore the other.  Their vision is to spread the word that it is imperative to have comprehensive health check-ups routinely to keep on top of of your health.

Meet Dr. Adepeju Igun, DDS

Hi there! Let me introduce myself.   I’m Dr. Adepeju Igun.  It is my top priority in every dental appointment to make my patients as comfortable as possible and to create an overall enjoyable experience.  I genuinely love to educate my patients on their oral health as well as address their primary dental concerns.  Ask me any dental question and I will try and answer to the best of my ability.  And if I don’t have the answer, I promise I’ll find someone who does!

Now for some stats so you believe I’m a real dentist!  I received my Bachelor of Science magna cum laude right here in San Antonio from the University of Texas in San Antonio (Go Runners!).   I furthered my love of science with a Masters of Neuroscience at UTSA before going on to dental school in 2007. I completed my dental school education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2011.  I have been a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association as well as the Academy of General Dentistry and continue to further educate and better myself in the dental field through continuing dental education.  So be on the look out for added services over time including clear aligners (think Invisalign), implants and even implant-supported dentures!

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and trying to keep up with our two young daughters.  I enjoy eating out, would love to sleep in again one day (shout-out to all the tired parents out there) and am a self-proclaimed “chocoholic”.
